In the middle of the pandemic, you can imagine that hiring any new employees would have come to a standstill. However, after some time, the Marketing and Business Development team welcomed a new Marketing Manager, Christina Riviere. Since mid-May, she has been “ripping and rolling,” coordinating social media, writing blog posts, creating videos and presentations and photographing larger losses. Over the last 3 months, she has already made an early impact and truly loves being a part of the GRS family!

Christina received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from LSU in May 2015. While there, she also completed two minors in Business Administration and Sports Studies. She was an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America throughout all four years of undergrad.

Interestingly, in the summer of 2014, she completed an internship for a summer collegiate baseball team in Mequon, Wisconsin. Her experience with the Lakeshore Chinooks was one she has called the opportunity of a lifetime. After graduation, Christina continued working for a marketing agency before serving in a couple other communications roles in the greater Baton Rouge area.

Doxies, Desserts & More

Personally, she resides in nearby Gonzales, La. with her boyfriend Christian and their miniature dachshund, Cash. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family in Port Allen, baking sweet treats, attending concerts, shopping, and event planning, which helps her well in her Marketing Manager position. In addition, she loves watching and attending LSU sporting events and is an LSU baseball season ticket holder of 8 seasons.
