Driving Company Culture

Rob Calais • October 27, 2021

Company culture has become more of a buzz phrase in recent years. At the height of the pandemic, many organizations changed the way they approached time-off, the typical 9 AM – 5 PM schedule, etcetera. Employees’ personal lives have become more pertinent and considered in reevaluating and adjusting existing policies.

A company’s culture is represented in a few ways. These include, but are not limited to:

  • The values that are held by an organization.
  • The way the employees interact.
  • The decisions that the leaders make daily.

There are several identifiers of company culture including work environment, the style of the leadership team within an organization, values and ethics, goals of the company, and a clearly-defined mission statement.

Company culture is not something that is established instantaneously. It is developed over time and when team members understand expected behaviors and outcomes, culture is then reflected at all levels of the company. The culture becomes part of daily expectations and is reflected in interactions with clients.

At Guarantee Restoration Services, over the years, we have altered both our company mission statement, but our five core values have mostly stayed the same.

Our GRS Mission Statement:

Our mission is to serve friends, family, and partners by delivering effective solutions, providing honest and dependable services while ensuring continuity for their lives and businesses.

Our 5 Core Values:

  • Honesty
  • Workmanship
  • Efficiency
  • Commitment
  • Partnership

Whenever employees and leadership share in the implementation of a mission statement and core values, a true company culture is created. Once this is done, your organization will not only grow and be more successful then, but well into the future!
