Spring Has Sprung!

It's hard to believe we're nearing the halfway mark of 2025—and the beginning of hurricane season. Every month, we spotlight one of our amazing team members. For April, we're excited to highlight Amy Parker, a key part of our Accounting Department, working in Accounts Receivable

About Amy

Amy was born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, and spent her entire life in Macon County before moving to Louisiana in 2022. Prior to joining GRS in October 2022, she served as an Office Manager at Macon County Farm Bureau for 15 years.

In her free time, Amy enjoys life as a self-proclaimed "beach bum," visiting Gulf Coast beaches as often as she can. She also loves reading and antiquing

Amy is a proud mom to two daughters, Bailee and Madison, and cherishes time with her family and her beloved Cane Corso, Gypsy. She’s an avid supporter of LSU Gymnastics and Auburn University. In the NFL, she cheers for the Baltimore Ravens, thanks to linebacker Roquan Smith, who also hails from Macon County.

Life in Louisiana

Last year, Amy and her boyfriend, Adam, purchased a home in Gonzales, Louisiana. They’ve been busy transforming their new house into a home—planting flowers, decorating, and picking out new furniture.

Amy's Advice for Success

When asked what advice she would give to company leaders, Amy shared:

"Find out what motivates your team and use that to challenge them."

For employees, her advice is simple but crucial:

"Honesty is an important part of communication, because it develops trust."

Fun Facts About Amy

For this Meet the Team spotlight, we asked Amy a special question: What's an interesting fact about you?
She had two incredible answers:

  • Family Ties to History: Amy's ancestor, Lyman Hall, was a signer of the Declaration of Independence
  • Music Video Star: Amy appears in the crowd of the Jason Aldean music video for the song “Gonna Know We Were Here.” Look for her during the burnout scene!

Pre-loss planning is not flashy or attention grabbing until you’re standing in the middle of a disaster and wondering what happened and what happens next. At Guarantee Restoration Services, it is one of the most important conversations we can have with our partners and clients, because preparation can mean the difference between complete chaos or a controlled situation. What Is Pre-Loss Planning? This service our team offers is exactly what it sounds like. It’s putting a plan in place before something goes wrong. Whether it’s a fire, a severe storm, or a flood, the first few hours matter more than anything. Decisions are made quickly, vendors are being called, and people are trying to figure out who is responsible for what and where. Without a proper plan in place, that moment is stressful, delayed, and more expensive than it needs to be. We have seen it firsthand, time and time again, those properties that have a solid pre-loss plan in place recover faster, experience less downtime, and have a much smoother path to normalcy. Properties that don’t have a plan are left to react instead of responding.
