Since 1974, Guarantee Restoration Services has proudly provided unsurpassed services to our partners and customers along the Gulf Coast. Throughout our 47 plus years, we have continuously invested in cutting-edge technologies, which has enabled us to reduce our customers’ down-time. Two of the newest ones we have adopted are Matterport and Ready Action Plan™ (RAP). Each are incredible pre-loss planning technologies that allow us to help our clients before a loss even occurs!

PRE-LOSS PLANNING TECHNOLOGIES: MATTERPORT™

Have you heard of Matterport™? Or, you may be wondering, what does Matterport™ do exactly? This technology is a highly sophisticated, AI 3D data-imaging platform that helps reduce time in the field, rectify discrepancies, and expedite recovery time. Our team has the ability to document homes, businesses, or any other assets with Matterport™. These cameras capture true-to-life imagery, which is viewable on a comprehensive platform. This helps to greatly accelerate any potential claims you may have as a business owner or homeowner.

Matterport™ Capabilities:

  • Receive a complete record of your property’s condition.
  • Accurate inventory of personal items and other assets within your home, business building or other property.
  • Reduce discrepancies and disputes with insurance carriers.
  • Take accurate measurements.
  • Expedite the entire claims process, reducing the need to provide documentation or receipts in some instances.

Combined with our Ready Action Plan™ web-application, our pre-loss planning services give you an opportunity to have all your property and content assets documented and better maintained. Next, I will outline some additional information about RAP below.

PRE-LOSS PLANNING TECHNOLOGIES: READY ACTION PLAN™

Ready Action Plan™ is another web-based app that allows you to collect and utilize documents, plans and critical building information from any internet device in the world. With RAP, as a business owner or facility manager, you can rest safe knowing you have access to all the essential property information in one easy-to-access, secure program.

Facilities and Operations Managers can use the products to create a knowledge vault or storage space containing all contacts, important documents, warranty information, agreements, etcetera. These important documents may include contracts, images, maps, floor plans, evacuation plans, disaster plans, construction flow, staging areas, mechanical drawings and more.

In conjunction with Matterport™, RAP creates a powerful tool enabling Guarantee Restoration Services to provide our customers with the best service available.  We also recognize these services can be used in other ways and invite our customers to take advantage and explore their potentials. The possibilities are truly endless!

Hello, June! While the official start of summer is still a few days away with the upcoming summer solstice, it has felt like summer along the Gulf Coast for nearly two months already. Our team has experienced a steady and busy spring season, especially with the severe thunderstorms that swept through our service areas. Now, with the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially underway as of June 1st, we are actively preparing for what’s expected to be a high-activity season. Staying ready and resilient is part of who we are. Meet the Team | Edgar Lopez Each month, we highlight a standout team member from one of our six branch locations—and for June, we’re excited to feature Edgar Lopez , one of our dedicated Project Managers at the Baton Rouge branch. Born in Acapulco, Mexico, Edgar moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. After completing high school, he pursued a degree in Construction Management at Baton Rouge Community College. Before joining GRS in October 2019, Edgar built an impressive résumé with nearly nine years of experience across industrial, commercial, and residential construction. Family, Faith & Hobbies Outside of work, Edgar is a devoted husband to his wife of 13 years, Beatriz. Together, they are raising three wonderful children: Destiny (11), Said (8), and Elyon (7 months). When he’s not managing projects, Edgar enjoys spending quality time with his family, staying active in his church, playing soccer, and going fishing. A passionate soccer enthusiast, he’s a proud supporter of FC Barcelona.
