When to Hire a Professional Restoration Company

Shawn Folks • March 29, 2023

Disasters, such as floods, fires, and storms, can cause significant damage to homes and businesses. While it may be tempting to attempt to clean up and restore the damage yourself, hiring a professional restoration company can save you time, money, and potential health hazards. In this blog, we’ll discuss when you should consider hiring a professional restoration company.

  1. Large-Scale Disasters: In the event of a large-scale disaster, such as a flood or fire, it’s best to leave the cleanup and restoration to the experts. Professional restoration companies have the experience and equipment necessary to quickly and effectively restore your property to its pre-disaster condition.
  2. Health and Safety Concerns: Restoration work can expose you to hazardous substances, such as mold, asbestos, and chemicals. Professional restoration companies are equipped to handle these substances safely and effectively, protecting both their workers and the occupants of the affected property.
  3. Time Constraints: Cleaning up and restoring a property after a disaster can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. By hiring a professional restoration company, you can free up your time and focus on other important tasks, such as dealing with insurance claims and making arrangements for temporary housing.
  4. Cost-Effective Solution: While it may seem like a good idea to save money by tackling the restoration work yourself, the cost of buying the necessary equipment and supplies can quickly add up. In addition, making mistakes during the restoration process can be costly, as it may result in further damage to your property. Hiring a professional restoration company can be a more cost-effective solution, as they will have the necessary equipment and experience to complete the work efficiently.
  5. Better Results: Professional restoration companies are trained to restore properties to their pre-disaster condition, using industry-standard techniques and equipment. They have the experience and knowledge necessary to effectively remove all traces of damage, ensuring that your property is restored to its original state.

In conclusion, hiring a professional restoration company like Guarantee Restoration Services can be the best solution in the event of a disaster. We have the experience, equipment, and expertise necessary to quickly and effectively restore your property, saving you time, money, and potential health hazards. For over five years, I’ve had the privilege of spotlighting the incredible individuals who make Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) the company it is today. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to a key member of our Lafayette team, Craig Rose , who serves as their Mitigation Manager .
