Meet the Team | Ariel Baudean
It’s certainly hard to believe that the first day of summer is only 4 days away! The middle of another month brings yet another Meet the Team article. For June, we highlight Ariel Baudean, who serves as an Estimator at our New Orleans branch.
Meet the Team: Already Moving on Up
Ariel was born and raised in St. Amant, Louisiana and is one of three siblings. Following high school, she went to River Parish Community College for Auto CADD. She also attended Delgado Community College for architecture. Before becoming a Guarantee Restoration Services team member, she traveled the southeast as an independent flood insurance adjuster. Ariel joined our team in January 2020, first as a claims representative, but has since been promoted to an estimator.
Meet the Team: The Great Outdoors & Her Doggos
Although work keeps her busy, she does have several hobbies. These include doing almost anything in the great outdoors. She loves going camping, kayaking, fishing and riding in the boat.
In addition, Ariel enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is a “dog Mom” to two precious canines, Lilly (13) a shih tzu and pug mix and Poppy (2), a schnauzer and pug mix. Speaking of dogs, she said that she loves animals so much that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was little!
Meet the Team: Family-Oriented Environment
Ariel has only been with our team about a year and a half, but she echoes a similar sentiment to previous spotlights. When I asked her why she likes working for our organization, she stated, “I love how family-oriented GRS is and how my co-workers feel like family. I love working for a company that really cares.”
Finally, one interesting fact about Ariel that I also wanted to share is that her office light stays off. Yes, you read that correctly! Some studies haves shown that reducing translucent light in an office environment increases productivity. Nothing wrong with that!
