Meet The Team | T.J. Dalman
Well, we are way into the heat of summer now! A new month means a new Meet the Team spotlight. This July, we want to introduce you to Thomas, aka “T.J,” Dalman, who was recently promoted at our Lafayette, Louisiana branch!
Meet the Team: Another Acadiana Talent
T.J. is another homegrown team member. He was born in Lafayette and resides in Carencro. After he graduated from high school, he attended South Louisiana Community College, where he received a certificate in industrial technology. Before joining the GRS team in December 2020, he worked for a small oil field company called Lafayette Electronic Design. Most recently, T.J. was promoted from technician to project manager!
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his friends and family. His hobbies also include watching sports. His favorite teams are the LSU Tigers, ULL Ragin' Cajuns and New Orleans Saints. Speaking of sports, while writing this article, he shared that he wanted to be an athletic trainer at the professional level when he was younger.
Meet the Team: Already Making Moves
Despite only being with our company about 8 months, T.J. has already proven himself to be an extremely dedicated team member. When I asked him what he likes about working at GRS, he explained, “I love that almost every day is a different job at different locations. It keeps each day interesting.”
In late June, he continued his education by taking a FSRT certification class that was offered by Guarantee. He said that he learned a lot of new methods and ways to restore damaged structures. We look forward to his growth and are so grateful to have him on our team!
