Partnerships Through A Pandemic

At the heart of our business, our team strives to live out five core values each day. One of those, partnership, is at the forefront. What is partnership? Partnership can be defined as, “the state or condition of being a partner; participation; association; joint interest.”

Since early March, Guarantee Restoration Services has worked with numerous organizations along the Gulf Coast. These charitable partnerships have given us the opportunity to serve our community during such a difficult time for all.

GREATER BATON ROUGE FOOD BANK

In mid-May, we started a campaign to garner engagement and bring awareness to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank’s mission. Currently, this food bank serves 11 parishes in the extended Baton Rouge area. Before COVID-19, they donated 100,000 meals per month. Since the pandemic began, it has donated that amount per week. After a month-long campaign, we were able to reach our goal of 500 likes and shares. On Friday, July 17th, GRS donated $1500.00 to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. We also donated fogging services to their 50,000+ square foot facility.

OCHSNER HOSPITALS

The Ochsner Hospital System includes 40 owned, managed and affiliated hospitals and specialty hospitals and more than 100 health centers and urgent care centers across Louisiana and coastal Mississippi. In June, we donated $1500.00 to the Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Additionally, our team went to the Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner on July 9th and 10th to disinfect vehicles for all healthcare workers and first responders. In addition to the cleanings, workers were provided waters, Gatorades and snacks courtesy of GRS.

LIVINGSTON PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Back during the 2016 flood, the Livingston Parish Public School system called on Guarantee Restoration to restore and re-occupy many its schools. At the end of May, our team successfully cleaned all 43 of its school campuses. Most recently, the school board contracted us to re-clean every school building before the 2020-2021 school year starts in a couple weeks. This partnership was featured on few, local news outlets, including WBRZ Channel 5NBC Channel 33 and Fox Channel 44.

MASKS DONATIONS

Finally, Guarantee Restoration has donated masks to a couple different governmental entities. First, District Attorney Hillar Moore picked up some masks for his office. We also gave some additional masks to Sheriff Sid Gautreaux and his deputies at the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.

THERE WHEN YOU NEED US MOST

As we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continuously adapted our business practices and done what we can to help those in need. Service is incredibly important to our company, and we are thankful for the opportunities we have had to serve our communities in need.

Saying Hi to July! The summer is here—and so is the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. No matter what it brings, you can be assured that our team at Guarantee Restoration Services will be there when you need us most. Meet the Team: Marcela Argueta Every month, I have the opportunity to showcase our many awesome team members. For July, we are shining the spotlight on Marcela Argueta , who serves as a Lead Technician at our New Orleans location. She was promoted to that position in January 2025 . From Honduras to GRS Marcela was born and raised in La Ceiba, Honduras , also known as “la novia de Honduras” —which translates to “the bride of Honduras.” She moved to the U.S. in December 2016 after earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras . Marcela is currently approved and ready to take her exam to become a registered nurse in the U.S. Before joining our team in August 2022 , she worked as both a nurse and a homemaker . Life Outside of Work Marcela is a proud mother of two—her son, Sebastian (15) and daughter, Eleanor (5) . When she’s not working, she loves spending quality time with her children and extended family. Fun fact: her half-sister, Brenda , also works at GRS in our Baton Rouge office! One of Marcela’s favorite pastimes is going for walks in the park. She says she often uses this time to meditate and reflect—thinking about what she’s done well and what she could improve.
