Meet The Team | Cassie Bertrand
At Guarantee Restoration Services, our people are what make the difference. This month, we're highlighting Cassie Bertrand, one of our Claims Representatives based at our Baton Rouge headquarters.
Since joining GRS in April 2021, Cassie has played an important role in helping our team navigate the claims process by preparing mitigation estimates and supporting project documentation. Her dedication, attention to detail, and positive attitude make her a valued member of the GRS family.
From Metairie to Gonzales
Cassie was born in Metairie, Louisiana, and moved to Gonzales with her family at six years old, shortly before Hurricane Katrina. She later attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
"After changing my major multiple times, I finally found the right fit and earned my degree in business management," she shared.
Before joining GRS, Cassie spent six years working in retail pharmacy throughout high school and college, gaining valuable customer service experience and learning how to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A Birthday and a New Career
Cassie officially joined Guarantee Restoration Services on April 1, 2021—a date she won't forget anytime soon.
"I started working at GRS on April 1, 2021, which also happens to be my birthday," she said.
Today, she serves as a Claims Representative, where she focuses on writing estimates for mitigation claims and helping ensure projects move smoothly through the claims process.
The Family Atmosphere at GRS
When asked what she enjoys most about working at GRS, Cassie immediately points to the people.
"What I love most about GRS is the family atmosphere and the connections I've made with some awesome people."
Building strong relationships and supporting one another are important parts of the culture at GRS, and Cassie appreciates being part of a team that genuinely cares about one another.

Of GRS's five core values, Honesty is the one that resonates most with Cassie.
"The core value that is a strong part of my personal and professional life is Honesty. I will always be true to myself and everything I do."

Advice for New Team Members
For anyone just beginning their journey at GRS, Cassie encourages them to keep an open mind and embrace opportunities to learn.
"Always be open to constructive criticism as it helps you learn and grow."
It's simple advice that reflects her belief in continuous improvement and personal development.
Family, Friends, and Making Memories
Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending quality time with her children, Savannah (4) and Bennett (1), husband Hunter, family, and friends.
"I enjoy making memories with my kids, family, and friends."
When she has some free time, you'll likely find her crafting, shopping, or exploring the latest makeup and beauty trends.
"I love crafting, shopping, and all things makeup and beauty. I'm just a girl. 🎶"
Dreaming Big
Like many children, Cassie had big dreams growing up. As a young child, she wanted to become a veterinarian. Later, her interests shifted toward healthcare.
"As a teenager and even as an adult, my dream career has been to work in geriatric medicine. Maybe one day!"
While her path ultimately led her to the restoration industry, her passion for helping others continues to shine through in everything she does.
