Meet The Team | Christina Mullins
Happy February! It's time for another Meet the Team highlight. This month, we introduce you to our Digital Media Specialist, Christina Mullins. From coordinating our social media pages, to creating videos, to planning events and more, she has helped cultivate and expand our digital brand footprint since joining our team on May 18, 2020.
Another "Homegrown" Team Member
Christina was born in Baton Rouge, but raised across the Mississippi River in Port Allen. She lived in West Baton Rouge Parish her entire life with the exception of a summer in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After high school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from LSU in May 2015. While there, she also completed two minors in Business Administration and Sports Studies. She was an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America throughout all four years of undergrad. Before joining us she served in a couple other communications roles in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, including Chef John Folse & Company.
Interestingly enough, in the summer of 2014, she completed an internship for a summer collegiate baseball team in Mequon, Wisconsin. Her experience with the Lakeshore Chinooks was one she has called the opportunity of a lifetime. It was the catalyst that proved that the marketing and communications field was the right one for her.
A Newlywed & Doxie Mom
Personally, she resides in nearby Gonzales, La. with her husband Christian and their five-year-old miniature dachshund, Cash Christopher. She and her husband were married on May 7th of last year and purchased their first home shortly after.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking sweet treats, attending concerts, shopping, and event planning, which helps her well in her role here at Guarantee. Her and her husband also love to try new restaurants, watch TV series and go to the movies.
One of their biggest hobbies is going to new places and traveling whenever they can! This summer, they will take their one year anniversary trip to the Dairy State (Wisconsin). Their travel bucket list includes Boston, Maine, Washington D.C., Italy, Greece, Banff, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest, among others.
