Utilizing Ready Action Plan for Disaster Preparedness

Jordy Crawford • October 6, 2021

It’s no secret that disaster can strike at any time. Oftentimes, many businesses fail to recover. Preparedness and rapid response are key to any businesses’ recovery. Guarantee Restoration Services is here to help. GRS is committed to restoring your businesses back to pre-loss condition as soon as possible, which is why we utilize a Disaster Preparedness application called Ready Action Plan, or RAP™. This service is through our partners at Restoration Affiliates

Defining Ready Action Plan Capabilities

So now you’re probably wondering, what is Ready Action Plan? Does it even benefit you? The answer is yes! Without question, RAP™ is a powerful emergency preparedness and facility management tool. It is a web-based application, which is accessible from any web-enabled device. It allows you to store and retrieve key documents, floor plans, building systems, contracts, warranties, and more. Security protocols are built in that allows you to restrict access based on security levels, ensuring private documents remain confidential.

The Ready Action Plan emergency notification system enables team members, maintenance professionals and property managers to send either a text or an email in an instant. This results in a more successful and rapid recovery following property loss.

Hello, August! August is flying by, and with back-to-school season in full swing, it won’t be long before fall festivities and the holiday hustle are here. For over five years, I’ve had the privilege of spotlighting the incredible individuals who make Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) the company it is today. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to a key member of our Lafayette team, Craig Rose , who serves as their Mitigation Manager . Meet the Team: Craig Rose Craig was born in Hamilton, Ohio, but at the “tender age of nine” (his words), he and his family moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Family Life & Personal Interests Craig is married to his wife, Karlie, and they have three children: Gaige (18), Gino (13), and Sydnie (7). When he’s not spending time with his family, you can often find him on the golf course maintaining a scratch handicap, or enjoying a game of chess. He’s a proud fan of both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, he has always had a love of music. He has played the guitar for 35 years. He said that he has seen the band Phish 44 times in concert. He even named his daughter Sydnie after Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd. Career Background Before joining GRS in September 2023, Craig owned and operated a ServiceMaster Restore franchise in Baton Rouge. His extensive experience in the restoration industry and leadership roles make him an invaluable part of our team.
