Meet The Team | Christy Jones Huff

Christina Mullins • February 12, 2025

At Guarantee Restoration Services, our people are at the heart of everything we do. This month, we’re excited to introduce Christy Jones Huff, a Business Development Representative at our Jackson, Mississippi Branch who joined the team just over a year ago in January 2024

From Property Management to Business Development

Christy’s journey to GRS started long before she stepped through our doors. A Jackson State University graduate, she earned her degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. She then spent 19 years as a property manager, gaining invaluable experience in building relationships and problem-solving, which are skills that now serve her well in business development. It is safe to say that she is well-versed in the multifamily vertical that we serve, but she also works with several other industries, such as state entities and housing authorities.

Life Outside of Work

Originally from Farmhaven, MS, Christy stays busy outside of work with a full house. She’s married, a proud mom to a college-aged son, and spends most of her free time keeping up with a very active toddler—a job she jokingly refers to as "taming a toddler." When she finds a rare quiet moment, she enjoys crafting, though she explained that those moments are few and far between these days.

Why Work at Guarantee Restoration Services?

When asked what she loves most about working at GRS, Christy did not hesitate and said, “the vibe.” She further expressed, “my direct manager supports me in EVERYTHING I do and is by far my biggest cheerleader. The executive team listens and respects my opinion and feedback. My BD team—LOVE!!!! And my branch supports me in all that I try to accomplish.” Most importantly, GRS provides her with something invaluable—work-life balance. “I have a family that actually gets to spend time with me,” she added.

A Lifelong Problem-Solver

Christy has always had a sharp mind and a curious nature. As a child, she dreamed of becoming either a lawyer or a private investigator, drawn to the idea of solving problems and uncovering the truth. While she ultimately took a different path, she still values learning and growth. Recently, she’s come to the realization that resonates both professionally and personally: “You can't help or make people learn from your mistakes and lessons.”

Words of Wisdom

Her advice for fellow team members is simple but meaningful: “Take pride in everything you do.” It’s a philosophy she applies to her own work, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to every project and relationship she builds.

Join Our GRS Family!

While Christy may not be a sports fan, she’s a true team player—and we’re lucky to have her as part of the GRS family! We have two locations in Mississippi, which are in Jackson and Gulfport. Our company also has three Louisiana locations in Lafayette, New Orleans and Baton Rouge. We opened a sixth location in Mobile, Alabama in 2023. Hello, August! August is flying by, and with back-to-school season in full swing, it won’t be long before fall festivities and the holiday hustle are here. For over five years, I’ve had the privilege of spotlighting the incredible individuals who make Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) the company it is today. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to a key member of our Lafayette team, Craig Rose , who serves as their Mitigation Manager . Meet the Team: Craig Rose Craig was born in Hamilton, Ohio, but at the “tender age of nine” (his words), he and his family moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Family Life & Personal Interests Craig is married to his wife, Karlie, and they have three children: Gaige (18), Gino (13), and Sydnie (7). When he’s not spending time with his family, you can often find him on the golf course maintaining a scratch handicap, or enjoying a game of chess. He’s a proud fan of both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, he has always had a love of music. He has played the guitar for 35 years. He said that he has seen the band Phish 44 times in concert. He even named his daughter Sydnie after Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd. Career Background Before joining GRS in September 2023, Craig owned and operated a ServiceMaster Restore franchise in Baton Rouge. His extensive experience in the restoration industry and leadership roles make him an invaluable part of our team.
