Meet the Team | Juana de la Cruz

Although it is almost the first day of Fall, for us along the Gulf Coast, it certainly does not seem like tomorrow will start a new season. Although hurricane season has been relatively calm as compared to the past couple years, we are still monitoring the threat of severe weather daily. Our team continues to prepare themselves for anything that comes our way. 

Each month, we highlight a different employee from one of our five branches. For September, we highlight Juana de la Cruz, who is a New Orleans technician.

Meet the Team: Dominican Born & Raised

Juana was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. At 19, she and her mother moved to the United States in 1995. After, she briefly moved back to her home country for some time before coming back to the U.S.

Prior to coming to work at Guarantee, she attended Berkeley College in New York City. Additionally, Juana worked at a doctor's office for a brief period. After she moved to New York, she also worked for two cleaning companies. Whenever she moved to Louisiana, she worked for Service Master before joining the GRS family in May 2022. 

When she is not working, she enjoys watching TV and eating at different restaurants. She has enjoyed variety of cuisines and foods in Louisiana. She also spends a lot of time with her family.

While writing this blog, I asked Juana what she likes about working at GRS. She said, “ I like the work I do each day. My co-workers are great people. I hope to continue working for this company and be able to give my best each and every day.”
